About the Artist

Andrea is a contemporary impressionist oil painter  living in the Pacific NW.

A strong foundation in drawing and composition were her first experiences with teachers and workshops. It is the basis for all her artworks. She continues to learn from and study current and old masters, artists, and Russian Impressionism. "We never stop learning, it is a wonderful process of exploration". The artist communicates their concept and feeling, their intent, to the viewer through the painting.

Andrea enjoys teaching art at the local Community College.  She exhibits in local art exhibitions and also in the Seattle area.

Whether outside in nature or in the meditative solitude of her studio, art is her passion.

"It's all I've ever wanted to do."
